The funky and curvy exterior design follows on into the interior, with a large, curved dashboard, flower vase and body coloured door trims. There is a surprising amount of room inside the cabin, and the boot is a good, usable size.
You can have a Volkswagen Beetle in either Hatchback or Cabriolet form. There was even an extremely rare RSi version which was powered by a 3.6 V6 Petrol engine and had 4WD. With just 250 made, it is now considered to be a collector’s item.
The ‘new’ Beetle was produced up until 2011. In 2011, Volkswagen launched a new version, which featured sharper design and more hi-tech features. It is based on Volkswagen’s PQ35 platform meaning the driving experience is better than in the previous generation.
There’s a very good choice of engines available, all of which offer reasonable running costs. You can choose from Petrol or Diesel engines with either Manual or Automatic transmissions.
